Experience the materiality and local history of Through Veins & Vines in a completely new way. Join visual artists Kwaku Osei and William Paul Thomas for a special guided Slow Art tour of their current mixed media exhibition, led by curator and arts administrator Gail Belvett.

A Slow Art tour is a radical departure from the way we typically consume gallery spaces. Utilizing research-backed Visual Thinking Strategies, participants will spend focused time with a single artwork, looking closely and sharing observations to co-create a richer understanding of the piece. The tour will conclude with brief artist remarks detailing the material science and documentary portraiture processes behind the exhibition.
