Experience the materiality and local history of Through Veins & Vines in a completely new way. Join us on Saturday, July 11, for a guided Slow Art tour led by curator Gail Belvett. Using Visual Thinking Strategies, we will slow down, look closely, and co-create an understanding of the documentary portraiture on display.

Through Veins & Vines is a collaborative mixed media exhibition featuring new work by Kwaku Osei and William Paul Thomas, exploring material science, portraiture, and historical narrative. Running June 6 – July 26, 2026, at the Preservation Chapel Hill Horace Williams House.
